How many times have you heard someone say: "God supplies all of my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19. You might have said it many times yourself, but any scripture taken out of context is called "pre-text." 

You have to read the preceding verses to understand what God is saying through the Apostle Paul. Paul was explaining to the Philippian Church that because they had established a Giving and Receiving Partnership with his Ministry, God was well pleased because they were helping Paul through their Financial gifts to get the gospel message out, and their giving became a "sweet smelling aroma" to God, and as a result of that, God would supply all of their needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:15-19 King James Version (KJV)

15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Prayer knows no distance with God. He said that I should have you get very specific with your prayer requests.  God does not have to tell me something TWICE.   I don’t want you to miss out.

Child of God, I want you to understand this.  No matter what you are facing. . .or how intense the attack,  you should know right here. . .right now. . .that today God wants to hear your lips proclaim his GLORY in your life.

The devil would like nothing better than to beat you up and keep you from experiencing financial freedom.  He would like to keep you frustrated and feeling all alone in your battle.

Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Not only are you not alone. . .but if you’re in debt, God wants to deliver you from the bondage of debt and bring you into financial freedom.

When you get specific with God, then He can get specific with you.  Financial miracles don’t happen by accident or unexpectedly.  You believe for, pray for, expect and sow for them. . .expecting the manifestation.

God knows what you will be facing financially, so He knows how much seed you need to have in the ground. 

All I want is for you to ask God, and then obey His direction.

Sow the exact seed that He directs you to give.  It may be $100, $50, $20, $200, $1,000. . .  obedience to God is the major thing.

Don’t let the enemy create any confusion. . .you are enabling what is written in God’s Word about sowing and reaping.  They are His principles but the enemy hates them!

Here are two things of absolute certainty about how God works.

    1. You can only reap what you sow.  I also know that everything reproduces after its own kind.  That’s a principle found in the Word of God (Genesis 1:11,24).

The last part of Galatians 6:7 in the Amplified Bible makes this very clear:

“… For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.”

That’s why it’s so important that we sow the right seed at the right time at the right place.

2. It’s also important to sow into good ground.  A crop will come up differently in poor soil than it does in rich soil.

Just ask God . . . then when He drops in your spirit the amount to sow . . . be faithful to do as He says.

I have done what God directed me to do. . .NOW IT’S YOUR TURN TO OBEY THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
